"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
